We offer introductory tandem paramotor flights that give you the chance to experience paramotoring while learning the fundamentals of powered flight.
Our introductory flights introduce you to paramotoring in a safe, controlled setting. You feel the takeoff, fly in the open air, and learn the basics, the safety steps, and how a flight works.
Paramotor Flights LLC runs these flights with ASC certified instructor pilots. All flights are introductory tandem experiences under FAA rules.
We offer one-on-one and small group foot launch or trike paramotor training and work around your schedule. Some students learn faster and finish in a couple weeks, and others with busier schedules take a few months. Register for training.
All pilots hold current ASC instructor certifications and tandem exemptions.
The flights are conducted under an exemption granted by the FAA. Paramotor ultralight vehicles do not meet aircraft certification standards set forth by the FAA and are maintained regularly by our own flight crew.
Our pilots have over 500 hours of combined flight time and 7 years experience.

Check the forecast before you come. It's a bit cooler in the air at around 30 mph. Avoid loose clothing. Sunglasses help with the wind; we also have goggles if you need them. If you have long hair, tie it back (we have ties if you forget). Wear closed-toe shoes that stay on securely. We also send you a pre-flight email checklist with more details. Feel free to call us at anytime to discuss your flight.
We typically fly between 100 and 1,000 feet, but we can go higher or lower based on your preference and conditions.
If there's a specific area in Saratoga Springs you'd like to overfly, tell us before the flight and we can map out a path that excludes congested areas when conditions allow. For locations farther from Saratoga Springs, we'd need to check the weather there and a travel fee may apply. Changing your flight location is possible but this is a training flight, so there would need to be a valid reason to change the flight such as bad weather in one area but not the other.
We only fly in safe weather. If conditions change at the last minute, we'll postpone and reschedule you at no extra cost, and we'll contact you as early as we can when that happens.
Please contact us at 801-901-7095 to make special arrangements. There is no lower weight limit.

No. These flights are introductory training experiences. We want passengers who are genuinely interested in discovering whether the sport is right for them. Take the controls if you’d like, with your pilot guiding you the whole way.
For two guests we can schedule two trikes and two pilots so you fly at the same time. When we're close enough in the air, we use helmet comms so everyone can talk on the same channel during the flight.
If you're prone to car sickness, you might feel motion sickness in the air. We have motion-sickness medication on hand; it often works best if taken about an hour before takeoff. Staying hydrated beforehand helps. Tell us as soon as you start to feel off: we can fly straighter with less aggressive turns, and save any more dynamic flying for the end of the flight once we know you're feeling good. We also have bags available if needed, and you'll be on the headset with the pilot the whole time.
Yes. We'll provide a tether for your phone; any other camera should be tethered or on a wrist strap. We also film with a 360° camera and usually give you a short complimentary clip for social media. For the full flight video, you can add our video package at booking.
All pilots hold current ASC instructor certifications and tandem exemptions, and we operate under FAA exemptions. With a combined total of over 7 years and 500 hours of flight time, Clint is the pilot for passengers under 240lbs and Tye is the pilot for passengers under 300lbs.
